Some long awaited good news. It has just been announced that Warner Brothers is releasing a new box set containing four of the remaining seven films remaining in their catalog. The films that will be included in the "Charlie chan collection" will be: "Docks of New Orleans," "Shadows Over Chinatown," "The Shanghai Chest," and "The Golden Eye." The set will be released on August 6 and will retail at $39.92, but it can be pre-ordered at amazon.com for $27.94.

This will leave "The Feathered Serpent," "The Sky Dragon," and "The Red Dragon" as the final three movies yet to be made available via authorized commercial release.

At long last! I wonder how many years we will have to wait for the last 3 films???

Excellent news... have these in pretty washed out versions, so nice shiny new ones will be most welcome.
