Hi, Rita. There is another website some of us also visit, and it can be reached at charliechan.net, and click on the link to the Forum. There you will find another message board with a few topics being discussed. There is also a general movie message board hosted by John Betancourt, with a section about Chan and other mystery topics. All of these sites seem to have less activity during the summer.

As for Virginia Johnson, she used to post on these sites often, and also had her own website called Old Movie Maven, but I don't think she has been active in a while now.

The name "Charlie Chan" came up when I was doing a web search one day and I happened to come upon your website. I had never seen a "Chan movie" before, so I decided to watch "Charlie Chan at the Race Track or perhaps Honolulu?" out of curiosity and found it to be very interesting. I am very happy that you "chanced" upon Mr. Chan! It seems that virtually ALL Charlie Chan fans have a similar, yet charmingly individual, tale to tell.

Please feel free to join with us some Monday evening, beginning at 8:00, in our Chat Room, located elsewhere at this site. Using our own personal copies of each week's Chan film (this week it will be "Black Magic" (also known as "Meeting at Midnight") we start rolling our movies at the same time (at 8:15), thus allowing us to watch the movie together and chat about it, having a lot of fun, hopefully, in the process. If you lack a film, there is a good chance that you will find it available at YouTube. There are usually about 10-12 of us at the Chat/Film Viewings, and again, please consider joining with us when you can, and you can check our Calendar to see which films we will be sharing in the future.
