Our Annual CCF Halloween Party/Film: "Dead Men Tell"

Our Halloween Edition of our Monday Evening Chat and Film Viewing will feature “Dead Men Tell,” starring Sidney Toler as we celebrate Halloween with Charlie Chan! Murders aboard an old sailing ship and the ghost of a long dead pirate provide the backdrop for one of the detective’s most spooky adventures…

This evening will also be our Annual Charlie Chan Family Virtual Halloween Party! Please come as your favorite hero or villain, human or animal from a Charlie Chan movie. You may come completely incognito, or you may offer a “hint” as to your true identity. This is always our most fun evening of the year, so come prepared for a good time! Our absent Ghostess with the Mostess, Virginia, will secretly drift in prior to our chat to dust off the cobwebs from her virtual beverage cart, offering everything from “Slimy Sarsaparilla” to “Eyeball Highballs.” Everyone is welcome to bring along their favorite array of ghoulish delights to share with victims – I mean, GUESTS…

We begin, as usual, at 8:00 p.m., EASTERN time with arrivals and greetings and a trip to Virginia’s virtual beverage cart. Then, 15 minutes later (8:15), we begin running our personal copies of this very worthy film, which allows us to watch it together as our evening’s discussion progresses.

Our Chat Room is located at our Charlie Chan Family Home, which is found at www.charliechan.info. Once there, please use any of the “Chat Room” links to join us.

Even if you do not happen to have a copy of our featured movie, please do join us, as you will NOT be left out of our ongoing chat and festivities. Also, as is our custom, newcomers are offered the seat of honor at our humble table. Should you need a copy, “Dead Men Tell” IS available for viewing at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yf6CQVyLdFg

So, let’s get together for another fun, yet frightful, evening as we watch “Dead Men Tell”…

Sincerely,
Rush Glick
