Is it correct that the only time Charlie Chan was actually shot was in "CC at the Racetrack"?
A gun was accidentally discharged while he was in the stable area of the ocean liner on its way to LA.
A great scene in the lobby card shows this one and only "action" picture of Charle on the floor.
Charlie also gets shot in "Shadows Over Chinatown", but the bullet lodges in a pocket watch, and does not harm him. The bullet does pierce his clothes, so I think this technically qualifies as being "shot" !!
