CONGRATULATIONS RUSH - The Warner Oland Scrap Book!

Rush, spent the last hour (or two) perusing the first 37 or so pages of the scrapbook. It's really a treasure trove of interesting Oland factoids (as well as others as you mention). You are to be seriously congratulated on your successful campaign to include this "prized find" into the Charlie Chan Family Home archives: "Certainly" a labor or love on your part.

Of course, a "deep bow" of gratitude to Mr. Charles Berry, who's in your own words "kindness & generosity" has allowed a Rare Gem to be shared with the world!

I see like Earl Derr Biggers, you have completed this huge endeavor and are now intended for some much deserved rest and vacation. I hope you and the family enjoy yourself, immensely!

GONG XI (pronounced: Gung Sea) - CONGRATULATIONS!

Lou

Re: CONGRATULATIONS RUSH - The Warner Oland Scrap Book!

Dear Lou,

Thank you so much, sir, as I humbly return your kindly offered bow. It was a fortuitous find, and it is my most profound honor to be able to share this wonderful piece of history with all fans of Warner Oland and Charlie Chan.

Sincerely,
Rush

Re: CONGRATULATIONS RUSH - The Warner Oland Scrap Book!

Dear Rush,

Many thanks for the latest entry in your long list of wonderful contributions to the history of Charlie Chan, Warner Oland and classic films. The material in The Warner Oland Scrapbook is priceless! I know when I first fell in love with the films as a youngster, watching them on channel 5 in New York, I never would have believed that one day I\'d be able to see these rare photos and clippings. Absolutely fantastic!

Thanks again,

Brian
