Photos from "House w/o a Key"

As our book on seldom-seen/lost mystery/horror/sci-fi movies moves toward completion, we're still short on stills/illustrations on the above-named serial. If anyone does have visual material on this - & would be willing to lend it to us/send us high-quality jpegs that we don't have - we'll cheerfully pay all shipping costs, give you photo credit, and scratch your back in the acknowledgements sections of the book. Hank & I have already done some fairly comprehensive coverage on Eran Trece & The Chinese Parrot in an earlier book, so we're hoping to continue to increase the amount of available info on the the more "obscure" Chan materials out there with House without a Key.

John, I am no historian, or movie buff. However, I have come across a few interesting things in studying Charlie that pertain to the books (more so than the movies). This site has 4 pages of vintage Hawaiian photos:

Happy Hunting and best of luck with the book!

Re: Photos from "House w/o a Key"

Dear John,

I wish I could help you directly with your search, but I do not have any photos in my personal collection from "The House Without a Key." However, you may try contacting the USC Film Library as I know that they have stills from films available for use and they will produce high quality copies on request for a fee. You may also try the UCLA Film Library, although I am not familiar with their practices with regard to film images.

I hope that this may be of some help to you, and the best of luck as you work on your project. Please keep us informed as to a release date.

Sincerely,
Rush Glick
