I am replying to the email notice regarding Howatt family from Fenwick (it was posted in 2009 so hopefully the person is still interested). My own family are HOWAT from Fenwick. William Howat born 1839 Fenwick married Agnes Donald b 6th July 1837 Barr by Girvan. William's father was David Howat born 1815 Lous, Ayrshire m. Mary Young born 8th July 1816 Mauchline. David's father was William Howat born 1786 Sorn, Ayrshire m. Agnes Hutchison b 1786 Stair Ayrshire. Would love to hear from anyone who is either related or knows any more info. I do have death and marriage dates for most of these people.
