I flew back from the southern island on Friday. I am glad to be home.
I was able to see a orthopedist and He said no surgery. Praise the Lord! I am in an air cast. Praise God it is a removable cast so I can shower. The doctor says, as my sprained ankle heals I should be able to begin to put weight on my foot with crutches and then eventually without crutches. I really crushed my foot. It is bruised and hurts all over even though just the upper area of my small toe was shattered.
I will fly back to see the doctor in 5 weeks. Hopefully will get air cast removed after looking at new x-rays.
Interesting note, is my depression has let up quite a bit since this accident and trip to the bigger island.
I have also been taking advantage of this extra time for reading the New Testament and praying and listening to Inspirational Music.
After this week, I hope to get some sit down work done. I have plenty to do that I have been to busy to sit down and do. LOL
Thank you for your continue prayers. I have four bones that need to a special touch of the Master to get back in align and heal properly.
It's good to see that you're back. Perhaps the time away was what you needed. Sometimes bad things can cause a good thing to happen. ie. your depression lifting. Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him who have been called according to his purpose." NIV
