What benefits of vps hosting do u get? is it good for using to 2 websites?

I have plan to create some apps for musicians. I used VDS for few websites. Unsupported software can raise security concerns for hosting providers, and on a shared server, the software that is available will be dictated by the host. If you are familiar with Linux and server side, unmanaged VPS server is a good option, because it is more affordable than managed VPS hosting.

I think for commercial websites vps is better
