The Breitling Endurance Pro is a versatile watch that combines the best qualities of the brand’s technical and lifestyle collections. It is part of the Professional Collection, built to handle the challenges of rigorous workouts while also being a unisex fashion statement, the ultimate athleisure watch.
Previously available only in 44mm, the Endurance Pro is now available in a universal 38mm size and in five colorways. To celebrate the launch of this watch, Breitling welcomes two new members to its triathlon team: current IRONMAN® Women’s World Champion Lucy Charles-Barclay and the youngest male champion in IRONMAN history, Sam Laidlow. These exceptional athletes join Breitling’s professional team, along with multi-winning triathletes Jan Frodeno and Daniela Ryf, who understand that keeping and defending a championship requires a watch as tough as the race itself.
“This %%bbCodeItem_2%% is designed to swim, bike, run, and keep pace with you no matter how intense your workout—plus, it looks great as a casual sports chronograph,” said Breitling CEO Georges Cohen. “This new size makes it suitable for a wider range of wearers.”
Endurance Pro: Survival of the Fittest
With its ultra-light case and comfortable-fitting rubber strap, the Endurance Pro is designed to appeal to both hardcore athletes and casual sports enthusiasts. It’s made from Breitlight®, a tough material that’s three times lighter than titanium and nearly six times lighter than stainless steel. The material is also non-magnetic, thermally stable, hypoallergenic, and highly resistant to scratches, traction, and corrosion.
The new 38mm Endurance Pro watch features a strap and crown that match the inner ring, available in five colors: purple, pink, white, light blue, or red. Meanwhile, the existing 44mm Breitling Endurance Pro watch gets a fresh new treatment with a new streamlined rubber strap in navy, orange, white, and light blue. Both sizes of hands and oversized numerals are coated with Super‑LumiNova® for easy reading in low-light conditions. %%bbCodeItem_3%%
Like all watches in the Breitling Professional collection, the Endurance Pro is powered by a thermo-compensated SuperQuartz™ movement, a technology that is 10 times more accurate than traditional quartz movements. The 44 mm model is powered by the Breitling Caliber 82, while the 38 mm model is powered by the slightly smaller Caliber 83. Both watches are COSC-certified chronometers designed to deliver exceptional precision.
Breitling’s Ultralight Heritage
The Endurance Pro is a modern evolution of the Breitling Sprint, which was launched in the 1970s as a high-performance chronograph for style-conscious athletes of the time. Its lightweight resin case and heart-rate monitoring pulsometer scale make it ideal for sports, its chronograph gives it professional tool watch status, and its bright colors bring a touch of 70s fluorescent cool.
Built for competition, the modern Endurance Pro %%bbCodeItem_4%% retains these elements. It is water-resistant to 10 bar (100 meters) and features a tactile rubber crown for excellent grip and maneuverability. It can time intervals to 1/10th of a second, measure an athlete’s pulse, and keep competitors on track with a solar-powered compass. Like the Sprint before it, the Breitling Endurance Pro does it all in style and with vibrant colors.
Two New Members to the Triathlon Team
The Breitling Professional collection of watches is designed to excel in the most extreme conditions and toughest races on the planet. The professional athletes on the Breitling Triathlon Team are performing just as well in Breitling’s new Endurance Pro events.
Jan Frodeno
The German Olympic gold medalist, three-time IRONMAN World Champion, and two-time IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion defines what it means to push the limits. He is the first man to win all the major triathlon titles at different distances. During his career, Frodeno broke multiple full-distance world records and remained ahead of his competitors for 15 years. %%bbCodeItem_5%%
Daniela Rive
Daniela Rive’s achievements never stop. Made in Switzerland, like Breitling, Daniela is a five-time IRONMAN World Champion, a five-time IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion and the current long-distance triathlon world record holder. Her 2018 victory marked the third time she achieved the prestigious “double” – winning the 70.3 and Kona World Championships in the same year – something no other triathlete has ever done.
