Even by his own high standards, Martin surpassed himself at Preston today, obliterating the club's 10-mile record, which had stood for twenty years.
His time of 53:15 was more than half a minute inside the previous record, and saw him finish 2nd in the race.
This completes a remarkable autumn for Martin, who in the past month has also run PBs over 10k and the half-marathon. Not bad for a vet!
