Claire Meadows & Judith Dyer have kindly volunteered to collect spare kit at Training Nights up to Easter in preparation for our (Jan & my) trip out to Gambia in mid April. I'm looking for TECHNICAL SHIRTS, VESTS, SHORTS, LEGGINGS & SPORTS BRAS for young Gambian athletes (see Nov 17 photos).

Despite talent, and excellent coaching, many have to train in cut-off jeans, board shorts, cotton t-shirts, and normal bras. Sadly we don't have room for bulky items like shoes & spikes this trip. The coach Lamin Marikong runs open sessions for youngsters as well as elite training, and the tribes typically have very different body shapes, so there are all sizes to cater for.

Spring is the time for a kit clear-out! Come on PLS - it's easy to make a real difference to the lives of these young athletes!
