Recce report:
I went this morning, despite the desire to avoid it due to the dry conditions overhead, uncharacteristic of this route.
To make sure I captured every detail, I ran in both directions and I must say it was worth every splash💪🏻
Some community Liverpool has, we should be considered ourselves blessed...
Some sort of heavy machinery/tractor has been travelling up and down it, meaning it flattened almost all reeds and we have now a two and half lanes motorway..
Spoilt with choice between light/medium/heavy mud caking..
Also, probably dog walkers have built a trail of pallets/branches to avoid the worst bits 👍🏻
And if you still don't feel confident getting splashed and have fun, you can pick the parallel trail above, which has been restored from past damage.

Any news on the leap of faith over the muddy embankment? Is there an easier way to negotiate this obstacle now in all seriousness.
I'll be there. Will it be an Happy Bus type run or all groups for themselves? As I am now in the twilight of my running I don't fancy being left behind, I don't mind the gung-ho part on the 'beach' though were we usually regroup afterwards.
In the chocolate box of running I am well into my second layer and have eaten the Orange Cup with only the Turkish Delight and Coffee Cup left, Urgh! :neutral_face:

Must be an age thing . . . after writing all that I can't do April 26 now as I have a previous non-running commitment to go to. See you in May.
