This is just a quick line to let you know that the September Multi Terrain Series WILL be taking part this year with the same format as previous years. I would ask you to share this information with club members and further information will be sent out in due course. As advance notice, however, we will once again be asking for lists of club members which will simply be age and category (e.g. MV40 etc). This greatly assists in the compiling of results.
The dates for the series (determined by tide times) are:
Royden Park Tuesday 3rd September 7pm
Thurstaston Tuesday 10th September 7pm
Harrison Drive Tuesday 17th September 6.30pm
Arrowe Park Tuesday 24th September 6.30pm

Just bringing this one to the top again as not everyone is aware of it.
First of the four races is this coming Tuesday (Sept 3rd) at Royden Park with a 7pm start.
The club has traditionally had about 30-40 runners at each of the races in this series, which is well established and well supported by local clubs. The races can be useful tasters for those who fancy having a go at off-road/trail running
Club sessions carry on as normal on the Tuesdays in September (although you should be aware that the final Mystery 5k of 2019 has been moved to Thursday (5th Sept)
For now we have created a web page on the Pensby Runners website for a repository of Multi Terrain Series information and results.
In time we will transfer all the historic results to this page and the results from the forthcoming Tuesday night series will appear here … Wirral Multi-Terrain League
