Training - Tuesday October 20th


***ALL GROUPS WITH MORE THAN 6 RUNNERS WILL BE SPLIT BECAUSE GROUPS OF MORE THAN 6 HELP TO SPREAD THE VIRUS. PLEASE FOLLOW YOUR LEADER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND BE WILLING TO LEAD A GROUP OF UP TO 6 YOURSELF IF ASKED TO DO SO BY THE LEADER - ALL OF US NEED TO PLAY OUR PART IF TRAINING IS TO CONTINUE SUCCESSFULLY DURING THESE CHALLENGING TIMES***

Remember also, these sessions are PENNY LANE STRIDERS MEMBERS ONLY. If you haven't yet renewed your membership for the 2020-21 please ensure you do so before coming to our sessions; guests can take part by prior arrangement

Tomorrow night's sessions all start, as usual, at 7pm

Sufficient parking is available near each session’s meeting point.

Please ensure you are VISIBLE to others i.e. head torches, hi-vis clothing etc

Please all maintain social distancing (this is easy to forget during the recoveries between efforts)

Gp 1 (sub-41 mins 10k) – Prom; meet at Britannia pub; 1 min efforts

Gp 2 (41 - 44 mins 10k ) - Carnatic Rd hill efforts x 8 ; meet at foot of Carnatic Rd

Gp 3 (44 - 48 mins 10k) – Park Avenue (parallel to Carnatic Rd) ; hill efforts x 8; meet at foot of Park Avenue

Gp 4 (48 - 52 mins 10k) - Estuary park square > Dobbies; 5 x 1k efforts, meet at junction by Kays Medical

Gp 5 (52 - 56 mins 10k) – old Fire station where Banks Rd meets Speke Boulevard (opposite Matchworks gym); parking at Garston or at retail park; 1-2-3-4-4-3-2-1 pyramid

Gp 6 (56 - 60 mins 10k) – Sefton Park : meet by obelisk at top of main path ; 1 min efforts (x20) or 2 min efforts (x10)

Gp 7 (60 mins + 10k) – Prom; meet at Red Bull; 1-2-3-4-4-3-2-1 pyramid

As ever, please ensure the group leader has noted your attendance and be mindful of non-runners
