You're too modest, Lawrence. The Welsh 1000 (even the so-called shorter variant) is a prestigous event and to win that race is a fantastic achievement, so well done!
Is all this racing leading up to another crack at the Lakeland 100M, or possibly even an attempt at the Bob Graham Round?
The Welsh 1000m race I won was not the A-Race. Although I entered the A-Race when they changed the route to run around the Carneddau via Bethesda and up the road to Ogwen I moved to the short race which starts from Ogwen (E-Race which only had 22 runners this year). I would very much like to win the A-Race if that counts (when it does include the 1000m peaks).
I may attempt the BG, but I have entered the Lakeland 100mi and the Tour du Mont Blanc to the displeasure of my feet already.
