I'd like to thank everyone who helped with yesterdays race. The Committee, Tim, Michelle, Peter, Tony H, Tony M, Mike D, Julie & Shelly have all done so much and it has been a real pleasure to work with them.
All that work would be wasted if the marshals didn't turn out the way they do year after year. The feedback from the runners has been fantastic. You, the marshals, have been praised for your enthusiasm and professionalism.I could spend all day writing up the fantastic comments that we heard. Even the UKA adjudicator (who was well impressed with us)commented on how great the marshals were.
I am so proud to be a part of this club and privileged to know you all.

I echo everything Kris has said. Particular thanks to all those who worked tirelessly to shift the flooded areas in the Park. I promise next year to have a pump on standby!

Agreed- as a feat of engineering it was beyond compare. At the very least we should be invoicing the council for cleaning up their park...
