It takes place on Saturday 24th November at 6pm so if you go on Friday you can still have a drink and you've got all day Saturday to recover. Return flights from JLA will set you back about £120,have had a quick look at rooms,3 nights in the Sol Pelicanos will cost around £50 for a twin room,race entry is less than £20 and the ale is cheap as chips afterwards!

That should probably read £50 each for a twin room for 3 nights.

Got my flights, transfers, should get the hotel over the weekend but struggled booking the half itself. Got to stage 3 to make payments and then it all went Spanish on me. Submitted my card details but couldn't get to stage 4. Any clues chaps as my Spanish is rubbish

Hi Tommy and others, I'm going to be phoneless over there so it might be a pain for me to pick it up for you. Any suggestions for meeting up on Saturday to register and pre race on Sunday would be good in case we miss each other in transit.

Also, does this race count towards the Club Championship?

November 24th Time: from 11:00 - 16:00 hours to 16:00 a 20:00 hours


I think by "removed" they mean "collected" so you should be ok up til 8 o'clock.




Andy,I think races on the same day as x-country fixtures don't count so feel free to swap Benidorm,70 degrees,sea view,1 euro a pint for Birchwood if you like!

Think ill stay where I am Keith la! I can't see my 2h30m effort making much difference at the top end of the Open category anyway!!!

Jesus! I've had about ten bottles of lager and the race is in 12 hours! Don't think I'll be troubling the club championsip!

Imagine how many green bottles the race official is going to have to count waiting for you to finish!
