Quick update folks on the Barbie saga...

Some bad news in regards to APH. As some of you may know, sadly they had a fire on Monday night and Richie' place took a real hit in relation to fire damage. Every venue on the planet has been approached to see is they can accommodate our get together !

I have every faith that we will indeed get together - Just putting the final touches to a plan and I will keep every one posted.

The new venue will be Dovey Towers on Penny Lane ( Dovedale Road end)

The heat will be on the burgers & veggie burgers from 2.30pm on wards.

Children, family and friends of striders are all welcome. There is no cost for food (drinks are available to buy at the bar) and we have a face painter from 3pm.

Come down and enjoy a lazy sunny afternoon - it will be good to hook up.

Many thanks to Eunice for organising such a great event and dealing with a location change at the very last minute. Thanks to her partner John who worked so hard behind the scenes preparing food and thanks to Mike for feeding us. Same time next year?!
