We had a good turn out for this one last year, with Martin and James making the county team so lets get two good teams together this year, all members welcome:

Senior Womens race is 8km and starts at 13.20
Senior mens race is 11km and starts at 14.05

If you would like to enter please see me on club nights or post here. The club will pay your entry fee, but we do ask for a refundable deposit of £3 each (you will get this back after the race).

If you wish to be considered for selection for the county team I need to know when you enter please. No entries on the day, and no swaps.

Closing date for this one is Thursday 12th December 2013.

Oh go on then, it's not like I have any other pressing engagements. How many in the team? Is it like the relays or does it not matter about numbers? Happy to come along and/or stay out of it if you end up with too many.

Subject: Merseyside County Cross Country Championships

To secretaries of Merseyside clubs:

I attach information about car parking at Stadt Moers Park on next Saturday (Jan 4th) as well as a course map and timetable.


Please make sure your Senior runners coming later in the day are aware of the extra parking that has been made available in Stretton Way
in order to avoid congestion around the park.


Numbers will be available by the finish area.

Please note a tally system and recording envelopes will be used for the two Senior races to ensure the team result is known promptly.

Your club will need someone to handle this on the day.

Hi, I haven't been able to get down to the club recently, as Che is still in hospital, so I have not yet paid the deposit for Saturday for Steve and I. I can get down tomorrow, is it ok to pay it then?

Hi, is anyone meeting down at the club beforehand, and what time if so?

There are 15 of us going so there is scope for turning up in fewer cars, I'm happy to go to Stadt Moers early enough to collect all the numbers etc. in time for the start of the women's race.

If anyone wants a lift with me there will be room for 4.

I can come to Garston for 1200 and/or pick people up on the way. The info sheet lists the start of the women's race for 1315.

Colin I'll meet you down at the club, I was thinking maybe 12.45 gives us plenty of time to get there, and find somewhere to park.Let me know if that's okay.

To whoever is going to be picking up the mens numbers -

I almost certainly won't be able to run since I'll have the kids, so don't worry if you can't find me
