Next race in the multi-terrain calendar is Parbold Hill race on 15th February at 2pm. From what I've heard from several PLS and my dad regaling tales past, this is a cracker of a race to do. Race details can be found at http://www.skemboundaryharriers.co.uk/parbold_hill_2014.pdf . Simo has advised entering online to avoid disappointment of turning up on the day fully booked, online entries are as the below link:-

...Hope to see many of you lovely people there donning the white and black striking fear into opponents hearts!!
Another tip of the trade...
It might sound old fashion but I found that cheque and SAE at this particular race it's, hands down, the best thing you can do!
In 3-4 days you've got your bib (got mine Saturday, happy days) and don't have to worry about anything else, only showing up, even at the last minute, and.... race!
Avoiding all sort of rushing around or disappointments...
Hi folks, i really want to give this race a go, but I'm in work till 3pm. I could get cover but i need a lift to / from the race. If anyone can help i can share the fuel costs
Billy,
I'd love to help you, but I am planning to leave at the very very last minute, so unless you have already entered it, I might make you miss the race altogehter!
I'll never forgive myself...
Let me know
Race is this Saturday, so stay injury free and lets make a surge for a team prize! First 4 men to count and First 3 women, getting a prize of £20 each...If that's not incentive enough I don't know what is!
Also, it says there is limited parking at the event so best to car share. If people are wanting to car share please post on here, and I suggest meeting at Garston Sports Centre or wherever it's easier for pick-ups.
I'm taking Ian Russell and spectators, so have already got a full car...
Penny Lane won the men's team prize at Parbold today and Cristina won the ladies vet 45 prize too
fab four of Lawrence Lennon, Dale McCartney, Ste Harrison and Ringo Bullock triumphed

Fantastic race today, well done to everyone who took part and glad everyone enjoyed it. If you didn't do it today, make sure to do it next year, not to be missed.
If you haven't done multi-terrain before, it's like XC except you go the pub after and have a good chin wag!
I have to agree with the above comments and just say "Many Thanks" I had a cracking time. A strong family & friends of striders influence was felt - inc Maria and baby Martha Kelly and everyone gave lots of proud support and encouragement to all of team PLS.
There was shed loads of laughter through out the day and it was a lovely surprise to see Billy Taylor on the start line and back in action.
This was my first MT race, I loved it and I'm definitely going back in 2015 !
Team results we had; men's 1,5,14&21 out of 21, only club with 4 teams; women 5th out of 11 with not too many points off the top 3. Some fantastic team results yesterday, PLS well represented in numbers and spectators, everyone did the club proud.
Next MTCT race is the Roddlesworth Roller on 09/03/14, lets hope to get the same enthusiasm and a good PLS turnout. Entry forms can be found here: http://bookitzone.com/simon_townsend/262FFX.pdf
