As we draw to the end of the current Multi-Terrain Season it is time to think about which events we want to include in next season's calendar. It is proposed to meet up at the Penny Lane Wine Bar on Sunday 2nd March from 7:30pm to discuss which events we should drop and which new ones we should add.
The programme of events for the coming season have been agreed and are listed below. Once again we have included a range of different events covering the different distances and terrains. The Delamere parkrun has been included as a season opener. This is a lap of the lake in Delamere forest and is all off road, so is good taster for pavement pounders who are looking to try off road running.
We have a range of distances with longer runs such as Man v Horse (~22m), Race the Train (14m) and the Sandstone Trail A Race (17.7m) complimented by some shorter events Royden Park (~5m) and Harrock Hill (5-6m). There are also a smattering of regular favourites such as the Parbold Hill Race and Roddlesworth Roller. Hope to see lots of you out at these events. Come and enjoy the please of running without watching the clock and see some lovely parks of the countryside in our local area and further afield.
