Hello fellow Striders. We have been asked to provide volunteers to help with the Liverpool Marathon on 25th May. We have done this for the past 3 years and it has always been a great way of cheering on fellow members of the club and putting out the message to other runners what a friendly club we are.
If you could possibly help it would be appreciated. Also if your friends family even your children ( if you think they are old enough) want to help they are more than welcome. The area we have been given is Sefton Park. If you don't want to staff the water station we are looking for marshalls for the park area as well.

Running the race so can't help, but the 2012 marathon water station was great fun, thanks to Barry's organisation. Still got the tshirt and kit-bag! Did a different non-Barry water station in 2011 - not nearly so good! If you're not running, it's a great way to be involved - honest!
