Thanks guys, went and ordered the 110, good price but cannot get it to charge up at all,be on its way back very soon.

Just bringing this one to the top again. My lad is keen on getting a Garmin for Christmas. Any advice on where the best deals are at the moment? Cheers

although since I posted on here, I found my 110 is missing some key functions...
So my advice is to splash out on a 210 at least!

i bought it to replace my old 305. used the 310 a few times. back on the old 305 now

Nigel, Black Friday is on 28.11.14, if you've not heard about it look it up, it's an American thing, but basically you get cut price stuff, last year there were loads of offers on Amazon incuding Garmins and other GPS going cheap (and probably beep)
