Great preparation for the cross-country season!

The A race is part of our MTCT, but the B race is not. The B race is shorter in distance (starting further up the course and finishing in the same place as A) and starts an hour later. Finish is at Delamere.

Race A (£10.00) Starts at Duckington (GR 117/494526) 27.5km (17.1 miles) 655m climb START 10:00 a.m.

Race B (£8.00) Starts at Beeston Castle (GR 117/540591) 17.0km (10.6 miles) 288m climb START 11:00 a.m.

There's a fair few striders taking part in both the A and B race though there are still places left for this race. No entering on the day

Possibly the best trail race around our area, not too steep, not too wet, perfect for testing your jumping skills and stamina off road!
I'm in for doing it, I hope my on/off illness stays off for this one :-D

Hey, Simo, I don't remember the jumping bits! Where are they? .....Unless you mean the stiles?

You see, I tend to jump over rather than climb or open them (kissing gates) :-D
I just assumed everyone else do the same ;-D

Watch out if you plan to enter this race now. There are no more places on the buses so you'll have to get yourself to the start.

Anyone interested in car sharing, please post here by end of play friday afternoon.
I can pick you from Garston @ around 0730-0745, coach leaves hatchmere @0830, so plenty of time to get there.
