Race starts at 10am. Slightly different course, largely along same route but with start and finish in a different field!
Opinions as to whether spikes can be worn differ, I recommend you also bring studs if you have them. They have formalised some of the paths which are now covered in rubble. I have not seen the new course.

•At Windmill Roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the A577 (Follow signs Upholland).
•At mini roundabout turn right onto the A577 (Follow signs Upholland/Wigan).
•At mini roundabout turn left onto the A577 (Follow signs Upholland/Wigan).
•Continue along road past Cooperative Store.
•At Victoria Pub turn left onto Mill Lane.
•Continue along Mill Lane/Beacon Lane.
•Event is on left handside. Carr Lane Carpark.

•From event turn left onto Beacon Lane.
•Follow road down towards Dalton, St Michael’s Church.
•At Dalton, St Michael’s Church take 2nd left turn following Beacon Lane (Not Elmersgreen Lane).
•Continue down the hill.
•At Roundabout take 4th exit onto Beacon Lane
•Turn left onto Cobbs Brow Lane
•Turn right onto Cobbs Clough Road (Follow sign M58)
•At roundabout take 1st exit on to Glenburn Road
•Our Lady’s Queen of Peace RC High School is on your left
•Refreshments and showers will be available in the Sports Hall.
