A cold, damp and very misty/ foggy morning in Southport greeted the large contingent of PLS who made the trip. Many of the above times were PBs on a fast, flat course & you will have to advise if that was the case.

If I have missed any PLS off the above results, please accept my apology; the Mad-Dog results page had several PLS as being unattached !

PB for me :-)

Great running Jay! A couple of more weeks in G2 and we'll smash that 36 minute barrier!! 😉

PB for me at Mad Dog (although I had really wanted to break 50 min to justify running with Group 3 - I just hope they will still let me in as I was 24 seconds off. 1% faster is all I need, that being said according to my Garmin the second 5K was just 2 seconds slower than the first.

Debi McMillan F35 70:20 PB. Lesley Finnih knocked about 10 mins off her PB too - great running!

The course was dry and it was not cold. Unfortunately, PLS men did not win the team prize as 'TheEnduranceStore.com' is now classed as a team. The team prize is vouchers for the endurance store!

I think a phone call to clear things up at England athletics hq is in order here!!!

I must stipulate that the 1 hour 5 minutes parkrun was because I was last runner marshall - I haven't had a sudden and drastic relapse!!

Clear & very cold; ideal winter trail racing conditions ! However, the course was very tough & gruelling; especially the almost Somme-like quagmires in certain places on the course.

Thanks to Jay & Lawrence for their vocal support en-route.

Stato if you list me as Christina on the results there will be repercussions. Getting slower with every week that goes by is one thing, the h is quite another.
