Roddlesworth Roller, 9km approx
The final race in the Multi-Terrain Challenge Trophy (MTCT) 2014/15 calendar.
A nice challenging undulating trail run taking in reservoirs, woodlands, and a bit of road. You'll soon understand why it's called Roller!
Date: Sunday 8th March 2015
Address: Abbey Village School, Bolton Road (A675), Abbey Village (nr Chorley), PR6 8DD
Daffodil Doddle, 2.2km, 12.30pm, U17's and beginners
Free cake and tea / coffee to all runners at the finish...
Don't make the mistake of using the postcode on the entry form to find the event, you'll only end up in a cul-de-sac a few miles away...I think everyone has done that at some point!
No, never had that problem Neil, I'm very good with directions...
said the man who managed to run almost 30km in an orienteering race which was supposed to be 21km
Haha, yep, Sam & I found ourselves in that very cul de sac last yr.
In the ensuing panic to find the route to Roddlesworth in time for the start I managed to spill coffee all over some of Sam's precious CDs!
By the way, how come we don't include 3rd place in the awards?
Gold, silver, bronze and a podium ideally.. it's an istitution!
Any reference to the fact that this year I will finish 3rd is totally unrelated
One important thing to be said about this race....
Very strict rules about team prize apply here, so please enter in advance if you want to be counted for team prize, previous PLS experience has proven...
