53 runners. 14 laps. A total of 5 miles of cobbles! Wet and windy and getting windier as the race went on. 1 hill 14 times. There was also a 10K which started 2 minutes before the marathon and we had to work our way through this race. A 5K started 2 hours 15 after the marathon and it seemed strange overtaking so many people that late in the race. The half marathon started 3 hours 15 after the marathon and these were really good runners - no overtaking these that late on in the race! It was good to have David on the course and seeing him 14 times. No prizes, only water given on the course but the marshals were really vocal and the start finish area were good.
