Volunteers for the xc course at Clarkes Gardens please meet on the field by gate at Woolton Road (the Start/Finish area for those who have been there before) at 08:15 please.
I will need help setting up the Start/Finish Area and marking the course. All equipment will be ready for use.
Volunteers for Cheshire Lines - you only need to be there for around 10ish to help Tony Man set up so you can either go straight there or come up to the field to help out there first if you feel particularly energetic.
Runners: race starts at 10am.
We plan to have a few words about our friend Mike McCabe (who sadly passed away a couple of weeks ago) before the race, so make sure we send him so big a cheer that he'll be able to hear it from the Great Curry House in the Sky (or wherever he's got to by now).
Carol Holt will once again be our First Aider. Can all marshals please ensure they exchange mobile numbers with her in case you need to call her to assist an injured runner.

Congratulations for a brilliant win to Martin Swensson (nothing provisional about that one!) and to Kate Macfarlane first counter for the women. Full results when the official ones are released.
Many heartfelt thanks to all the marshals and helpers in setting up and taking down the course and of course for keeping everyone fed and watered at Cheshire Lines.
Once again we have had excellent feedback about the race (apart from the need to tape the bottom half of the field a bit more clearly) and well done to all Striders to took part in any capacity.
