Don't use your sat-nav to get there, it'll only send you to the other side of the park to an unused under pass!

Can we use either of the two main car parks on the map (map attached).

You can use all three car parks, including the golf course one, which in my opinion is the best one cos you can wash your legs afterwards.
Hart's lane car park on the other hand is the closest to the start/finish area

Think I will take my ice scraper to get the mud off as me thinks with all the rain due this week it may just be Glastonbury without the music ....

The Saturday XC league at Beacon Park A few weeks ago was extremely muddy. We have had lots more rain since then and there are far more runners in the Sunday league - get ready for a Mud Bath!!!

l&d beacon wasn't that muddy!
It was a bit wet..
You could actually step over the two bridges at the bottom of windmill hill!
In 15 yrs I've been running at beacon, this was the first time I noticed they exist!

NWCCSL Race 3 - Beacon Park
Provisional results have the men in first place on the day and women in joint fifth place with LRC on the day.

Once again nothing provisional about Martin Swensson's fantastic first place, a brilliant result on a proper muddy course!

Well done to all, especially the counters Martin Swensson, Stephen Watkin​, Lawrence Eccles​, Alex Cowin​, Neil Bullock​ and Neil Kelly​ for the men and Kate Macfarlane​, Sharon Samson​ and Louise Warn​ for the women.

See you all at Runcorn on Dec 13, will post directions and race day instructions in the next day or so.

So muddy at one point I was convinced some of my spikes came off!
I soon realised it was in fact extremely slippery in places

Simo if I remember correctly Liverpool were 2nd and Knowsley 3rd? Not sure, I nearly fell off my chair when I heard we'd won and stopped paying attention.
