Easter Saturday every year is the Rivington Pike Fell Race in Horwich near Bolton. It is approximately a 5.2km route going uphill to the pike and then uncontrollably legging it / rolling back down again.
The race also encompasses the Merseyside County AA championships, so there are opportunities to pick up medals.
We usually get interest from several striders, so if you were interested in doing this, post here and attempt to arrange car shares and designate a driver, as you may want a few scoops in the Crown Hotel pub afterwards!
