My mother bought an album from you guys i think back in the 1970"s when she seen your show in Central City,Iowa at the Bluegrass festival. well i still have that album it's titled The Tennessee Gentlemen. Doyle and Donnie I have missed you guys so much, and think about you often. I cherish every time I have heard you play, and the times we have sat and talked. You are more than Musicians to me, you are friends.

I am sad to say that Marlene and I seperated and then divorced about two years ago, It has been hard for me to let go of her, and what she meant to me and my life. Have not been to a Bluegrass festival since, I guess one reason was becasue it was something we did as a couple.

My family use to go to bluegreass festivals, in the Midwest, and a good festival would have the Tennessee Gentlemen. My father passed away back in 1988 and I remember that he just loved the high tenor of Donnie and the instrumentals of the whole band. One of my favorite songs, and I still can not find it anywhere, was Louise. We bought a copy on an eight track and after many years of playing it over and over it stopped working. Would still love to hear your music and if I am ever in the same place will come and visit....
