September ’69 until April of ’70

I was a 1 Lt Platoon leader at C Co from September ’69 until April of ’70 when I was transferred to 89th MP Group in Long Binh.I remember well the Car 8 experience of duty officer at night in Saigon and the patrols along 100 P Alley and Tu Do. I still stay in touch with Steve Langham who was often my driver but have lost track of the others. If there are any others out there who remember me, I would love to hear from them. The company commander when I got there was Capt. Foley whom I did not regard very highly. Do you remember who succeeded him as CO? I recall that he was a fine officer. By the way I have also run into Sgt. Rodney Cantrell and Mike Jackson all of whom live near me in the Cape Girardeau MO area. I will never forget serving with outstanding young men. I am trying to locate David Norwood from Covington, Ga. We went to AIT at Gordon, Then to Ft Bragg, NC, then to 716th in Vietnam together. He was in A company, I was in B company. Trying to contact him for old times sake. Anyone knows him pass along this message.

Hello, I\'m trying to locate SGT Alberto Valentino who served as an MP with Bravo Company 716th MP\'s from 1967-68. He also served as an unlisted aid for General Irzyk in Saigon for 6 months and that is the reason why I\'m trying to contact him. I purchased the Generals Tokarev bring back pistol from the war and I\'m trying to see if SGT Valentino remembers how the general acquired it. Thanks for the help in this matter!
