You have been in our thoughts and prayers and conversations since you have left. And even before that. It was wonderful to see your message and know that everything is going ahead as planned with the trip. We will keep our fingers crossed until you return safe and sound.
We are SO excited for you and Marie and Sarah. Good to hear things are finalized, but we are still holding our breath until we know you are all home, safe and sound.
Please don't worry about the chat room - it only got a little charred and Virginia is stepping gingerly around the furniture polish as we try to clean it up for your return.
Virginia was an awesome hostess as you already know. Her shoes were very difficult to fill with the beverage cart. You'll probably hear about it anyway, so I might as well tell you that I got a little too much liquor in the Rummy Punch and Auntie got a little punchy (but cute!), but she's ok now. I only spilled on a few people, but I don't think the cart is too much the worse for wear!
I'm not sure anyone has addressed this point directly, but as a somewhat newbie I will.
Every child every how is a paramount treasure and a miracle, but there's got to be a recognition of the Glick's going the extra mile for Sarah. They've done more that I would be willing to do on a volunteer basis, and the world all 'round is richer for it.
Best wishes. "You're a better man than I am, Gunga Din." So, hold down the din, I'm trying to sleep.
