What an ordeal you and your mother and family went through! We are so fortunate where I live that our weather is never severe. Tempting fate, I'll take the "worry" of earthquakes any day.

It is good to hear that everyone, especially your mother, is doing well, and may this remain so through MANY more storms to come...
