I am now the proud mother of a laptop that I am slowly getting used to. I'll probably use it tomorrow night in the chat roorm.

Those of you all who are laptop-experienced . . . you all have any suggestions on how to get used to them any faster?! Or is it just a case of practice, practice, practice?!

Yes...practice, practice....PRACTICE! Personally, I prefer to connect a standard mouse to the laptop that I use at work. That makes it much easier for me.

I'm still trying to get use to the difference in keyboards . . . like size. I'm beginning to think that they built my laptop keyboard for children!
