Our Monday Evening Chat/Film Viewing: "Charlie Chan at Monte Carlo"
Please join with us for our film for this week’s Monday Evening Chat and Film Viewing, “Charlie Chan at Monte Carlo,” starring Warner Oland in what fate decreed to be his final film as Charlie Chan. In this adventure, Charlie Chan and Number One Son, Lee, return to Europe to attend a Paris art competition in which Lee is a participant. Passing through Monte Carlo, Chan and son become involved in a mystery involving both murder and international banking and stocks. (At the end of the film, please note Mr. Oland’s final, very appropriate words.)
