Please plan on joining us for our ANNUAL CHARLIE CHAN FAMILY HALLOWEEN PARTY as our Monday Evening Chat and Film Viewing features “Charlie Chan at the Opera,” starring Warner Oland…vs. Boris Karloff! In this, our Halloween offering, it’s Charlie Chan versus the supernatural as a an unseen nemesis who lurks within the labyrinthine confines of an opera house!
EERIE things begin with spectral arrivals and ghoulish greetings at 8:00 p.m., Eastern Time. Virginia’s virtual beverage cart, but, BEWARE - the beverages and treats MAY contain some TRICKS on this very unusual evening! Then, thirty minutes later, we begin running our personal copies of this very worthy, and very spooky, film, which allows us to watch it together as our evening’s discussion progresses.
Please come in VIRTUAL COSTUME as your favorite character – minor or prominent, good or otherwise – and join in on the fun!
