Or go to youtube and search KEYE LUKE. The 2012 trailer will come up.
It's a great idea, but the casting is all wrong. I don't believe any of these actors in the parts they are playing. The acting and production values come across as very amateurish.
Why is sidekick Kato "strutting his stuff" in front of the Green Hornet? Why is the actor playing the Green Hornet so slight of build? In the 1940 GH serial, the actors had some beef to their build.
What kind of attitude is Feodor Chin, the Keye Luke actor, projecting in the Charlie Chan scene? Could his nose get any higher into the air? Part of the problem is the selection of poor angle. It's the director's fault.
Who is the young African-American actor playing Mantan Moreland? Could somebody wake him up? He's way too young.
The trailer looks like a bunch of kid actors trying to play great charactor actors from the golden age of Hollywood (1930s-1940s) and it does not work. Instead of this biopic, why not make a documentary about the life of Keye Luke? Now that would be interesting. I'm sorry, but the trailer looks awful.
P.S. Could somebody tell the sound guy to use the correct microphone on the final scene?
