I have one up for sale. 1981 Puma GTI. Sunroof option. 40,000 original Kms. Fantastic shape. Located in Burlington, Ontario, Canada.
Please e-mail and I will send price and pictures if interested.
Dave, that is a gorgeous car you have there. Do anyone know how US laws work concerning importing a car from Canada? Being a Canadian import originally, would it be treated the same as other "gray-market" cars?
Mike, do you have a link to that one in Cali?
jon let me try to get info. and ill get back to you ... regards / mike
Sorry, but I have little knowledge of the import/export laws. The car has a bona fide VIN# which is recognized by the Minitry of Transportation in Ontario. I can't see how it would be any different to importing/exporting any other car. The age of it would exempt it from smog and safety issues, I would assume.
Let me know if you are still interested.
Thanks. I'm in Colorado, so logistics have to be worked out. I'll get with you if i can put all the pieces together.
Have you checked out the pumagte.com Webb site's Forum ? As it is a very interesting and informative site and seems to have a few Pumas for sale on it.
