I just purchased this rare and unique vehicle from the Estate of Angus Southerland. https://photos.google.com/u/0/album/AF1QipN1QowqSyVFnAICJJa94Bkql8_iGe1qSPO5addI
He came by the car in December 1989 with 26,000 miles on it. It was a trade in at his business Carrera Motorsports of Miami. He drove it rarely and kept it garaged all it's life. Research on the internet mentioned it being in CA prior to that, but no proof. To my knowledge it is the only one here in the USA.
I'm trying to come up to speed to do a frame off restoration of my new project above. I just finished doing an Electric Karmann Ghia project documented at Samba: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=591290&highlight=.

I have registered at Purring Pumas and am looking to speak to someone about the project. The car should be here in a few weeks and I can't wait to clean it up and start looking at the new parts needed list I'm sure I will have.
Are there any parts interchange lists for the chassis?
What is the cost to pull the headliner and get all new window seals?
How do I get the factory build sheet to see what color it was?
