Nero Wolfe's "Brownstone" commemorated with a plaque
Hi all. If anyone is interested the "Wolfe Pack" got together with the City of New York (parks) and have commemorated the building where author Rex Stout's P.I. Nero Wolfe's Brownstone was supposed to be (922 W.35th St.). Here's the article if you'd like to read it. Lou

Interesting, Lou! This could be done in a way with Charlie Chan regarding Punchbowl Hill's Prospect Street, which would be the closest logical match for Chan's neighborhood, at least, in both the Biggers stories as well as the movies. Maybe something at the base of Prospect Street could work!

Rush, my thoughts exactly. Steve, did earlier research and did a comparisons of roof tops from The Black Camel film and the house at 1598 Pele St (sits on the corner of Prospect & Pele.) We took a jaunt up there and it does look similar!
Another possibility could be the old Police Station at 834 Merchant Street, where Detective Chang Apana worked. I believe it's already on the national register of historic bldgs. Lou
