TRIVIA: “Charlie Chan in Shanghai” could possibly be considered to be connected with the previous three-movie “trilogy,” “Charlie Chan in London,” Charlie Chan in Paris,” and Charlie Chan in Egypt.” If so, this would make “Shanghai” a stop on an around-the-world series of adventures.
