Dear Virginia: I was wondering why we had not had the pleasure of your company lately.
I MISSED YOU !
I AM VERY SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT MOTHER...
However, I feel even "BAD-ER" for you.
What you are going thru, right now, as your Mother's one and only "CAREGIVER" is extremely hard on you.
You are getting the double whammy ! It is one thing for a non-relative to do the care giving. It is the hardest and the most emotional when the caregiver is a daughter, a son or a spouse. In my opinion it is the hardest when it is a daughter. Men seem to have broader shoulders then we do. They don't get their feeling hurt like us gals. Also; I find that MOST patients are not as short or demanding with their men-folk as they are with the women-folk.
I WISHED I WERE THERE TO HELP OUT AND GIVE YOU SOME WELL DESERVED SUPPORT, Auntie
You and your mother (as well as all your family) have my prayers.
Living in what is referred to as the "lightning capital of the world" (west central Florida) I can identify with thunderstorms and lack of electricity. Again, I'm sorry and my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I'm very happy, and relieved, to hear that your mother is doing better! The title of your post got me worried until I read the text of your post. Please give your mother warm wishes from the whole Glick family, and, please ask her not to frighten all of us!
