KLONDIKE ANNIE (1936)

I have just seen KLONDIKE ANNIE a 1936 film written by and starring Mae West, one of the most unique personages of her time. This was the film from which two important scenes were cut: the one in which Rose kills Harold "Goog Lee" Huber's character Chan Lo and the other in which she puts her own clothes on the body of the real Annie and makes her up to look like a *****. This last scene was cut for being hurtful to the Salvation Army, of which Sister Annie was implied to be a member; the legion of decency condemned it.

Dear Anthony,

I enjoy Mae west films, too. I am sure that I have see this one, but cannot recall. Probably a long time ago!

Sincerely,
Rush

Thank you for the kind words, Rush. Sorry about the profanity, but I didn't realize what I was saying at the time I wrote the original message. I wish I could remember what that word replaces by *s was.
