Provisional results have both the men and women's teams in first place today. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday present!

Hazel McCormick was 2nd woman and Martin Swensson 3rd man on the day.

The rest of the counters were Lauren Wilson & Kate MacFarlane for the women and Chris Maher, Lawrence Eccles, Steve Watkin, Josh Keogh and Jay Clarke for the men.

There was a massive turnout for the club and I loved watching many of you tackle our new water feature. I believe Brendan was the one who made the most of it

We had a record turnout of with 299 men and 181 women crossing the finish line - that's 480 finishers excluding guests! Ours is traditionally the first fixture in the season and always attracts big numbers, but it is testament to the wonderful band of volunteers and experienced people we have on hand year after year that once again we have been able to put on a successful race.

So thanks to everyone who helped ensure today was a good day for PLS.
