Great fun - had snowed before the run, and the route had to be changed to avoid black ice on the course. Around 5 miles up and one mile down (although not sure it even felt like a mile down!) - with added snow falling on the way up in fair amounts. All of PLS rose to the fancy dress challenge and most fell over on the descent I think. Getting out of the side roads from Grizedale was interesting as the snow was falling heavily. Definately one I'd recommend to do!

A very fast field with Olympian Jonny Brownlee coming second. Top three were all below 30 mins.

Almost perfect conditions to end the year - just a litle bit of wind, and blue skies. Perfect end to the running year for me - added a long overdue PB on 10k, finally beating the 10k PB I had from 2013, to add to my HM PB from Conwy, and got within 1 second of my 5k PB in 2017. Here's to happy, injury free running in 2018

You missed the fact that it was like a bloody rollercoaster!!!
