Clear your diary and make space for the annual PENNY LANE STRIDERS AWARDS NIGHT!
It will be on Friday May 11th at Aigburth Peoples Hall and promises to be a fantastic evening.
Not only will we be celebrating a great year for the club in events like the Wirral Multi-Terrain Series, the Mersey Grand Prix and the Cross Country leagues, but we will be marking individual achievements on the road and off road too. Across the various age group and club championship distances at which we all compete, there could be as many as 80 members looking for space on the mantelpiece for a trophy when they wake up the next morning!
Added to that we’ll celebrate the club’s most improved runners, the winner of the Steve Dillon award and be revealing who has won the club’s Sports Personality of the Year award. And of course there’s the small matter of the 2017/18 male and female club champions!
So get the baby sitter organised, get your shift switched, do what you need to do – this is a night not to be missed.
There’ll be a buffet, DJ and loads of Striders whose dancing skills are a site to behold - and all just £8 a ticket (available on Web Collect NOW!)
