The race is always on Bank Holiday Monday as part of the Cilcain village show. They have lots of stalls and novelty acts like punch and Judy (the name may have changed), teddy bear parachute and tug of war to name a few. There was cheese and candyfloss. Unfortunately the pub ran out of burgers, but Terry was able to get two; I ate one of them. Penny Lane did ok on race prizes with Lenka coming second overall. I held on to the rolling series trophy for the three races (Clwydian Hills and Sheeptracks being the other two), so got to take the tree trunk trophy back to Liverpool from where it had come in the morning.
